I've always had the hots for the Chesapeake Bay in spite of her being a tad older than me by about 8,000 years. She's getting run down, run over, run hard, and run to ground by too many friggin' people living around her, and too much chicken poop being dumped in her waters by people who buy politicians. Personally, I wish everyone but me, some of my family, a couple of my good friends who are fine looking, a crabhouse seafood restaurant and a micro-brewery would abandon the whole watershed for the next 1,568 years. I'd bet the Chesapeake would recover in no time.
